For take-off, a wind of at least 5 km/h is required, preferably in directions ne, no, o, so or s. For landing, the choice is between Martinez beach, the lighthouse of Puerto De La Cruz or the garden beach, depending on the weather.

The take-off is very simple and wide, it is usually flown with 5 km of wind or more, the wind direction: NE, E, S, SE. The landing is usually on the beach of Güímar or in the valley of Güímar.
