⚠ ACTIVITY RISK

Paragliding is an adventure activity that involves inherent risks, such as falls, collisions, unexpected weather changes and possible serious injury, even death. Although we take all safety measures, the risk cannot be completely eliminated. By checking the reservation box, the passenger accepts these risks and agrees to follow the pilot's instructions at all times.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The passenger expressly declares that he/she is in good physical and mental health, that he/she does not have heart or circulatory diseases, balance disorders, neurological diseases or other diseases that could affect the safety of the flight, including chronic diseases, thus accepting that he/she feels able to cope with the stresses of the flight. If the passenger is not clear about his/her suitability for the flight, the passenger is obliged to have a medical certificate in which the doctor confirms his/her capabilities, and that his/her health is optimal to be able to perform the activity. It is the passenger's responsibility to cancel the flight if he/she does not meet the above conditions.

It is the passenger's responsibility to wear suitable clothing (weather and wind resistant, suitable for getting dirty), if possible fixed footwear (reaching to the ankles) and tear resistant gloves. The pilot undertakes to provide head protection (helmet) and flight equipment. In the case of passengers under 18 years of age, the signature of one/both parent(s)/legal representative(s) is required.

It is the passenger's responsibility to understand perfectly the brifing (explanation given to the passengers before the flight) and if there is any doubt always ask for it, as well as to follow the pilot's instructions unconditionally and immediately. This is for your own safety. Failure to follow instructions during takeoff, flight and landing may result in injury to the passenger and the pilot. If the pilot's instructions are not followed, the pilot may disqualify the passenger from the flight operation. In case of violation, the claim for reimbursement will be rejected. The passenger is liable for damages to persons due to failure to follow the pilot's instructions. The passenger is responsible for intentional or grossly negligent damage to equipment, pilots or third parties caused by the passenger.

PAYMENT

It is the passenger's responsibility to pay through a reservation of 20 euros per person through the website. And the rest of the payment at the end of the activity.

G.G.A.paragliding confirms the reservation in writing, by phone or email. When a gift certificate is booked, it is sent immediately to the customer, as full payment is required. In case of no-show at the meeting point on fixed dates, the full fee is still required. Gift certificates expire 3 months after the date of issue. Claims for a refund of a gift ticket or reservation by the participant are no longer valid after 14 days from purchase or issuance.

CANCELLATION BY THE PASSENGER

You have the right to revoke your contract within 14 days after receipt of the ticket without giving reasons, only by giving notice. As long as there is no fixed date for the activity, no refund will be made. A later revocation is not possible. If this is not the case, the cost of the refund will have to be paid.

At the same time, a transfer of paid services to another beneficiary is possible.

There is no claim for damages, reimbursement of airfare or reimbursement of any expenses incurred in case of delay or late delivery.

G.G.A.paragliding offers a shuttle service to the flying site. If the shuttle service is not necessary, the trip to the flying site is the responsibility of the passenger.

Flight reservations and bookings are binding and can only be cancelled up to 12 hours before the scheduled date. If the passenger does not show up on the agreed date without notifying the pilot (G.G.A.paragliding), or appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the passenger will be charged 120€ as compensation..

If the participant interrupts the activity or leaves the activity prematurely, no refund will be given. Any additional costs will be the responsibility of the participant.

Reservations and gift tickets are valid for 3 months. After that time, the activity cannot be done and the gift ticket or reservation will be lost.

AGREED DATES / WEATHER and flight time

Paragliding flights are weather dependent. the day before or the day of the flight, we will inform you about the weather and if it is possible to fly. if the weather is not suitable for flying, the flight must be postponed.

We expressly point out that there is no right to fly, even if the dates are fixed, if weather conditions do not allow it. There is no claim for damages, reimbursement of the flight fare or reimbursement of expenses incurred in case of delay or late delivery. However, the claim for flight recognition remains.

The place of flight is determined according to the weather by G.G.A.paragliding. The details of the flight are determined by the pilot. The duration of the passenger flight depends on the weather conditions. The pilot is always responsible for carrying out the flight. The pilot has the right to cancel the flight if he considers that the passengers are not in suitable conditions or if he considers that the external conditions (weather, wind, terrain, material) are not suitable either. The passenger confirms that his participation is of personal interest, to familiarize himself with the sport of paragliding.

The duration of the paragliding flight in Tenerife may vary depending on the weather. No discounts will be granted for changes in duration due to weather conditions.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

In the context of our tandem flight performance, we are only liable for damages caused by gross negligence and / or intent of the pilot. To the extent permitted by law, passengers exempt the pilots and the company ggaparapente, tandem from any liability, which goes beyond the existing insurance. Since the passenger understands and accepts when making the reservation and the activity that this is a risky activity.

If G.G.A.paragliding transfers the performance to a partner company/ or a club, G.G.A.paragliding is not liable for the actions and omissions of the partner. In particular, G.G.A.paragliding is not liable for damages resulting from acts or omissions of the pilot that are not related to the contractually agreed service.

G.G.A.paragliding is not liable for damages resulting from acts of third parties, other participants, natural events, official orders, etc., or due to a delay in return. If a participant does not comply with the instructions of the organizer or pilot, etc., all liability of the organizer ceases.
